Forgetting about the anti-semitism, the movie is so damned violent that I don't even feel like seeing it...you know I'll always prefer sex to violence...

JAPANESE GUY: Ah...so?

Actually I'm more of a mystic than a Christian,
more of a Bible Humper than a Bible Thumper,
but close enough for government work...

The 3 Stooges were very violent too. But as Joe Besser (the first SHEYGETS Stooge, who replaced Shemp for a while) once said,

"It's OK, Moe. No blood!" Cartoon violence. No one really gets hurt.

By the way, if you stick to the mythology,

it wasn't Judas
it wasn't the Jews
it wasn't Pontius Pilate
it wasn't the Romans...

You may want to change the heading to: "Jesus killed Jesus" to catch people's attention.

It was Jesus' own choice. ("I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again." John 10:17-18)

And Jesus was actually was motivated by future PLEASURE. ("Who for the joy that was set before him [as head honcho in Heaven] endured the cross, despising the shame, and is now seated on the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2)

"Short term pain for long term gain", as Anthony Robbins would say.

[Reactions to film] JAP SPY: Ah...SO?
JESUS: Shmoe !
BART SIMPSON: D'oh !
SHLOMOH: OH !
WILLOW CLAY: NO !
TYRONE: YO !

If you don't believe in miracles, remember I was brought up being fed all that nasty rhetoric and now I count you as much more of a "brother" than the religious nuts that are my "family".

Look for big review on February 26 of the Gibson film. Kenny Bossewitch and Shlomoh Sherman will be reviewing the film for those of you who cannot see it. It will be better than Siskel and the Fat Guy!
