SILENT TEARS

I lay in bed at night beside you
and cry silent tears
I cry for a love that's lost
I cry for the hurt that's been done
My tears burn down my cheeks
but do not make a sound
My tears causes my heart to ache
I feel so alone, even though
you are beside me
If I were to go away
Would you then hear my
silent tears in this empty house?
