Dear Shlo -
Being the Shekinah, I would very much like to be friends with King Solomon - a wise and magical man among men ...
Love - Kelly

"From the ark-cover she moved into the Cherub;
 From the Cherub unto the other Cherub;
 From the second Cherub onto the threshold of the Temple;
 From the Threshold unto the Court of the Priests;
 From the Court onto the Altar in the Court;
 From the Altar onto the roof of the Temple;
 From the roof onto the wall;
 From the wall into the City of Jerusalem;
 From the City into the Mount of Olives;
 From the Mount into the desert."

  ~Talmud

The Shekhina is the Female Soul of God - His Holy Spirit - a Goddess in her own right.
She first appears in Exodus 25:8, "Let them make before me a sanctuary that I may let my Shekinah dwell among them."

I AM The Shekinah
By Kelly Fleming

I AM the Shekinah - the Supreme Spirit devoted to the good of all people . . . I shine bright in the bloom of ignorance; I AM unfading; I AM easily seen by those who love me; easily found by those who look for me, and quickly I will come to those who seek my help. If you rise early, intent on finding me, you will not grow weary of the quest of me -- For one day you will find the seed of me inside your own heart. To set all your thoughts on me is true wisdom, And to be ever aware of me is the sure way to perfect peace. For I AM the Shekinah Herself & I go about in search of those who are worthy of me. With every step I come to guide you; in every thought I come to meet you . . . The true beginning of spiritual life is the desire to know me - the divine female presence. A desire to know me brings one to love me. Loving the Holy Me enables one to follow the will of the Holy Spirit. Following me & the Divine Will is the sure path to immortality. And immortality is Oneness with God. So the desire to know me - the Shekinah, leads to God and His Kingdom - - a never-fading Kingdom. With all your thrones and scepters you may rule the world for a while, But take hold of me as Holy Wisdom and you will rule the world forever. THE WHORES OF BABYLON By Kelly_Fleming I TURN THE MALE TO THE FEMALE. I AM SHE WHO ADORNETH THE MALE FOR THE FEMALE; AM AM SHE WHO ADORNETH THE FEMALE FOR THE MALE. The words of the goddess Ishtar. Ishtar's sacred harlots belonged to an organized hierarchy, painstakingly recorded by the Babylonians. Her top-ranking priestesses were called entu, and wore special clothing to distinguish them from the others. Their caps, jewellery and ceremonial staff were the same as those of the ruler, and their status equal to those of the male priests. The Babylonian naditu, ranking next in importance to the entu, were drawn from the highest families in the land. In dedicating their lives to the goddess they were supposed to remain single and childless. However, the naditu cheerfully ignored this stricture, and led full and active lives. They were bright and canny, with considerable business acumen: 'They bought, sold and hired out; lent money and grain; invested, imported, exported, dealt in slaves, managed land and people, played fom the cloisters an essential part in the economy of the country. Beneath these women came the qadishtu (sacred women) and the ishtaritu, many of whom specialized in the arts of dancing, music and singing. From snippets of information in classical literature, and certain artefacts, it is possible to surmise that these women demonstrated their sexuality by dancing a version of the sensuous, undulating belly dance which is still extremely popular all over the Middle East today. As Wendy Buonaventura writes of the dance: ... everything indicates a connection between birth mime, early creation dance and that which was part of goddess rites in the prehistoric world'. The dance is characterized by 'snake-like and vigorous hip and pelvic movements, the manipulation of veils, a descent to the floor and the ritual wearing of a hip- belt or sash, which we can link with the girdle, Ishtar's symbolic emblem'.28 In the Middle East this alluring dance is still performed by women, at all-female gatherings from which men are banned. The snake's sensuous coils may have inspired the undulations of Middle Eastern dance. In addition to the activities of the sacred temple whores, there were sacramental sexual initiations of a slightly different character. The Greek historian Herodotus (3 BC) tells us: 'Babylonian custom... compels every woman of the land once in her life to sit in the temple of love and have intercourse with some stranger... the men pass and make their choice. It matters not what be the sum of money; the woman will never refuse, for that were a sin, the money being by this act made sacred. After their intercourse she has made herself holy in the sight of the goddess and goes away to her home; and thereafter there is no bribe however great that will get her. All Seven By Kelly_Fleming All 7 and we'll watch them fall They stand in the way of love And we will smoke them all With an intellect and a savoir-faire No one in the whole universe Will ever compare I am yours now and u are mine And together we'll love through All space and time, so don't cry One day all 7 will die All 7 and we'll watch them fall They stand in the way of love And we will smoke them all With an intellect and a savoir-faire No one in the whole universe Will ever compare I am yours now and u are mine And together we'll love through All space and time, so don't cry One day all 7 will die And I saw an angel come down unto me In her hand she holds the very key Words of compassion, words of peace And in the distance an army's marching feet (1 2 3 4 - 1 2 3 4) But behold, we will watch them fall And we lay down on the sand of the sea And before us animosity will stand and decree That we speak not of love only blasphemy And in the distance, 6 others will curse me But that's alright (That's alright) 4 I will watch them fall (1 2 3 4 5 6 7) All 7 and we'll watch them fall They stand in the way of love And we will smoke them all With an intellect and a savoir-faire No one in the whole universe Will ever compare I am yours now and u are mine And together we'll love through All space and time, so don't cry One day all 7 will die Just how old And we will see a plague and a river of blood And every evil soul will surely die in spite of Their 7 tears, but do not fear 4 in the distance, 12 souls from now U and me will still be here - we will still be here There will be a new city with streets of gold The young so educated they never grow old And a, there will be no death 4 with every breath The voice of many colors sings a song That's so bold Sing it while we watch them fall All 7 and we'll watch them fall They stand in the way of love And we will smoke them all With an intellect and a savoir-faire No one in the whole universe Will ever compare I am yours now and u are mine And together we'll love through All space and time, so don't cry One day all 7 will die Just how old Just how old Just how old 7 by Prince

Shekinah
Hebrew: "Divine Presence." Literally: "dwelling." The actual dazzling, radiant, shining Presence of the Lord Himself.

The Shekinah was said to have appeared to Moses in the burning bush. The Shekinah also descended in the pillar of smoke that guided the Israelites through the desert. The Shekinah rested on Mount Sinai when the Ten Commandments were given to the children of Israel.

The Talmud teaches that the Shekinah is everywhere. Observant Jews say the Shekinah descends each Friday at sunset to transform each Jewish home during the Sabbath.

With all your thrones and scepters you may rule the world for a while, From: Kelly_Fleming Shekinah - the Female Soul of God By Kelly_Fleming The Secret of Sabbath: She is Sabbath! United in the secret of One to draw down upon Her the secret of One. The holy Throne of Glory is united in the secret of One, prepared for the High Holy King to rest upon Her. When Sabbath enters She is alone, separated from the Other Side, all judgments removed from Her. Basking in the oneness of holy light, She is crowned over and over to face the Holy King. All powers of wrath and masters of judgment flee from Her. Her face shines with a light from beyond; She is crowned below by the holy people, and all of them are crowned with new souls. Then the beginning of prayer to bless Her with joy and beaming faces: Barekhu ET YHVH ha-Mevorakh, "Bless ET YHVH, the-Blessed One," ET YHVH, blessing Her first.
