Then Silence becomes golden.
All trials, attempts, ventures
To contain Attachment
Prove themsleves vain.
What then - when Serenity and Faith
Can hardly dwell together in Fraternity?
Then grave Responsibility
Must come into play;
Setting forth all needs and terms
To complete specifications
That are most easily heeded;
When Futility
Appeals to Determination
To take a stand,
Most manly.
I accept Inevitibility
Nay, I invite and welcome him
To this humble House
Of Confraternity and Familiarity.
Enter in most solemn and august guest.
Tis time to act with Responsibility.
