Response To Charles Five

Mark, the first evangelist, shows the relationship between YESHUA and Jews in a negative light. He goes so far as to separate him from his own family and breaking the sixth commandment to honor ones parents [Exodus 20 and Leviticus 19]. His antipathy towards Jews is passed on to Matthew, Luke, and John.

In John's gospel, YESHUA is not even human any longer. He is a pre-existent divine being equal to God.

1:10 He was in the world, and .. the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to his own, and his own did not receive Him.

For the life of me, I cannot say who his own are supposed to be but it cannot be Jews.

See here:
John 8:
"30 Jesus spoke these things; 31 So He said to the Jews who believed in Him ...
43 Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to accept My message. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires."

Oh goodness! If that's the way he treated Jews who belived in him, what chance do the rest of us have? Instead of thanking them that believed in him, he called them antichrists!

And why do these evangelists have such a negative view Of Jews? Well it's because of what Paul taught them.

Galatians 5
"1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing."

You know what they say. Once you are circumcised, you can't undo it - although some may have tried, I mean the people who want to unJew themselves. But we are a circumcised tribe and therefore Christ has no redeeming ability for us. He is for you, the uncircumsised, so Paul says.

But he can't even leave well enough alone.

Phillipians 3
12 "I wish they were even castrated which trouble you."

Is that a nice way to talk about YESHUA's brother and the rest of well-meaning Jews who have the real YESHUA, the Jewish one?

But Paul has a sly, negatively ironic tongue when it comes to bad-mouthing the TORAH and circumcision:

Galatians 5:4
"Ye are cut off from Christ, ye who would be justified by the TORAH."

Philipians 3
1 "Finally, my brethren ... 2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the cutters!"

Oooo! So James and his followers are dogs? Not according to Mark 7:26,27

Philipians 3
5 "Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the TORAH, a Pharisee; [I dount it] 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the TORAH, blameless. 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted ESCUABALON for Christ."

Do you know what that Greek word means? Well, I'll tell you. It means SHIT. That's right. Paul is trying hard to be at his badest. Yes, calling the TORAH ESCUBALON. How can any self-respecting Jew join in with him? And notice, he never refers to himself as a Jew, only as a Hebrew, as though "Jew" is a dirty word. For many Christians, Abraham and Isaiah are Hebrews. Judas is a Jew. I personally don't know any Hebrews but I know a lot of Jews.

Now here is the greatest of them all!

1 Thessalonians 2
14 "For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: 15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:"

Now, I am not sure how God feels about us but we are definitely contrary to other people. That's what makes us unique and Chosen.

Numbers 23:
9 "From the top of the rocks I see thwm, and from the hills I behold them: behold! It is a people that dwells alone, and is not counted among the nations."

It's not right of Paul to say THE Jews because the definite article means "all the". Like the Democrats or the Blacks, etc.

It can't be all because I wasn't there. so is it all the Jews minus me?

And I defy anyone to show me anywhere in the Bible that says Jews killed our own prophets!

Look, if we are that bad, why do some Christians even want us? Actually, we are all Groucho Marx. We don't want to join a club that wants us as members.

"The anti-Semitic undertones of ... mainstream Christian view have also become increasingly apparent. It is a view that has led to some of the greatest atrocities that human has inflicted upon humsn. It is no exaggeration to state quite bluntly that the ultimate blame for the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the Holocaust can be squarely laid at the feet of this traditional understanding of Jesus and the early church.
But there is a new paradigm emerging today, one that is revealing the implausibility of the inherited paradigm. It is clearly in the so-called third quest for the historical Jesus, that understands Jesus as being thoroughly Jewish with no designs on starting a new religion. As was the case with Martin Luther vis-a-vis Catholicism, Jesus simply wanted to reform Judaism from within. The last thing Luther wanted to do was start a new church; the last thing Jesus wanted to do was start a new religion." -The Brother Of Jesus And The Lost Teachings Of Christianity, Jeffrey J. Butz, Inner Traditions Press, 2005
