From about half past 12 noon to close to 4pm, there was a partial solar eclipse over the Cleveland area. About 85% of the sun was covered. Getting special eclipse glasses was difficult because most places had sold out by the time I tried to get them. I did find eclipse glasses at Cleveland's Musuem of Natural History. I planned an eclipse party but only Lorraine showed up. She and I managed to get some shots of the eclipse using 2 digital cameras and Lorraine's cell phone filtered by dark eclipse glasses.
