Today, Lorraine Sarhage, leader of my weekly current events group, took us out for lunch at a fabulous Italian restaurant, Ciros, on Buckelew Avenue. This ws in honor of her LOL - Lunch On Lorraine, to celebrate her birthday which was on Sunday, September 28. Happy birthday, Lorraine, and thanks for the great LOL! - October 30

Christos Diner for brunch. Aileen orders soup and a half sandwich. They don't do that there. She wants corned beef half and a small soup. They only have bowl. One size fits all. Dummy brings her a Reuben. She eats half and wants to give half to me. I ask what's on it. Meat, sour kraut, and melted cheese. I tell her, You take it home. Oh yeah, she says, you won't eat meat and cheese together. I felt like punching the dumb waiter in the puss. - October 5
