THE BLACK WIDOW

She weaves a silken
Web of words
And thoughts
To lure the Unsuspecting.
The web strands Hum
With silken promises
If the prey
Will come near
To be consumed.

She said,
"I wish you were dead!"
Not once,
But twice.
Deadly words
From a Deadly Female
Who bites and poisons
Those who love her.

A posionous
Black Widow is She,
Dealing Arachnoid Death
To her mates
Whom she embraces
With deceptive Intent.

But when
She has emptied them,
When she has fed,
And they no longer
Feed her greedy appetite,
She spits out
The Excess
But holds it tightly
In her tentacles
Lest it return
To Life.

Who can explain?
She is after all
The devious Insect.

"I should've never married Sam. He's a Gemini,
TRIPLE Gemini. Gemini's a snake, you can't trust the snake."
